Oktoberfest is back in Mérida

This coming weekend, from Friday, October 13 to Sunday, October 15, a new edition of the famous Oktoberfest festival will be take place worldwide, and in Mérida, people want to emulate the event that takes place every year in Germany with the same name.

The German community of Mérida and businessmen linked to the event invite the general public to this festival, which will be held at the Rogers Hall Sports facilities.

In addition to offering different types of German and regional beers, delicious dishes such as different varieties of sausages, delicatessen, cuts of meat, and pretzels will be served to go along the brew.

Oktoberfest will be open to the public from noon to midnight on any of the 3 days of the event. The Festival is totally family friendly and there will be free activities to enjoy with friends or family.

The cost per ticket is $195 pesos and can be purchased at different points of sale, which are the German Language Center (CIA) Mérida, La Bierhaus, Schirp Delicatessen – Premium Cold Meats and Sausages, as well as Beer2go.
