New CURP will have photograph and fingerprints

The new CURP would integrate photographs and fingerprints, so it would serve as official identification, proposed the Morena party in the Senate.

In case the initiative is approved by the Plenary, it will be mandatory to register in the National Registry of Citizens and obtain the document.

A substantial difference with the INE credential is that the CURP will serve as identification for minors.
