After several days of reported missing and several days of searching, sadly Pedro “N”, 38 years old, was found dead in the forest in the municipality of Chemax.

Agents of the SSP, Chemax Municipal Police, as well as volunteers and family members, had been searching for him in different places and mountains since last Sunday, October 2.

It was until Thursday, October 5th, at about one o’clock in the afternoon, when members of the SSP and municipal police of Chemax and Valladolid found his body face down and without vital signs, in the police station of Sisbichen.

It transpired that Pedro had an argument with his wife and she denounced him for assault, so he fled into the forest, and nobody heard from him until his dead body was found.

The body showed no signs of violence, which was corroborated by Semefo personnel, but before that, FGE experts cordoned off the area for the corresponding procedures.

The body was taken to the SEMEFO facilities to determine the cause of death.
