Magic at the Palace of Music with the presentation of Diego Winburn

Two new shows full of illusionism, magic, and fun will be presented at the Palace of Music in Yucatan, in support of the Mexican Association for Children with Cancer (AMANC I.A.P.) and the Board of Directors of the Palace of Music in Yucatan A.C. These events are part of an initiative promoted by Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal, aimed at strengthening collaboration between civil society and the government to enrich Yucatan’s cultural offerings, enhance cultural infrastructure, and contribute to the artistic development of the community while supporting important causes.

Maleck Rashid Abdala Hadad, Director General of the Palace of Music, accompanied by Mariana Manzanero, who attended on behalf of Gabriela Xacur, President of the Board of Directors of the Palace of Music in Yucatan A.C., and Nicole Xacur Cejudo, President of AMANC I.A.P., announced the realization of these two exciting spectacles.

Abdala Hadad highlighted the success of the previous event organized by the Board of Directors in collaboration with AMANC I.A.P. that took place in April of this year. The show featured the participation of the renowned Sofía Niño de Rivera at the Palace of Music and received extensive support from various sponsoring companies. Part of the funds raised were allocated to the maintenance of the venue, including essential repairs such as the restoration of an elevator and the creation of the Trova Mural by artist José Góngora Pacheco.

Lic. Mariana Manzanero reported that the two new shows promise magical and illusion-filled experiences with the participation of the talented hypnotist and illusionist, Diego Winburn.

She mentioned that the first event, titled “Casino Night at the Palace of Music,” will take place on November 10th at 8:00 PM on the terrace of the venue. It will feature gaming tables, complimentary cocktails, a musical performance by Baile Híbrido, and the inauguration of an exhibition by the talented artist Alejandra Jorge Macari. Tickets-donations, priced at $2,000, will include a starter kit for exciting games with chips that can be exchanged for sponsor gifts.

The second event, named “Illusionism Show with Diego Winburn,” will be held on November 11th at 7:30 PM in the auditorium of the Palace of Music, where Diego Winburn will dazzle an audience of 450 people. Donation tickets will cost $500, $700, and $1,000. Tickets for both events are available through tusboletos.mx.

She added that in addition to supporting the Palace of Music, the Board of Directors, through these events, will also support the Mexican Association for Children with Cancer (AMANC I.A.P.), which is currently building a new center.

During the press conference, an official support check for $357,268.50 pesos was handed over for the construction of the new AMANC I.A.P. center, funds generated during the previous Board of Directors event, which featured the performance of Sofía Niño de Rivera at the Palace of Music.

Nicole Xacur Cejudo, President of AMANC I.A.P., thanked the Board of Directors of the Palace of Music in Yucatan A.C. and all the individuals and organizations that have contributed to this noble cause.

The event concluded with words of gratitude from Maleck Rashid Abdala Hadad, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between the Board of Directors, civil society, and the government for the development and preservation of the Palace of Music, as well as for supporting crucial causes, such as the Mexican Association for Children with Cancer.
