Restaurants affiliated with the National Chamber of the Restaurant and Seasoned Food Industry, Mérida (Canirac), carry out work in the two warehouses that house the 41 premises of the Yucatán Xmatkuil Fair.
In the 2023 edition of the Xmatkuil Fair, 23 brands will be participating according to the state authority which is still to confirm the inauguration date, as reported by CANIRAC’s President Claudia González Góngora.
“We are just waiting for the date to be set, the Canirac restaurants are already ready, making the adjustments in their premises, in some of the two warehouses, they will have the gastronomic offer, fast food, Yucatecan, pizzas, and others varieties of Mexican food from other entities, this will be confirmed as soon as the date is available,” she noted.
She stated that there are many challenges that the restaurant industry has had to overcome, they were the hardest hit by the pandemic and then inflation, but if they have realized one thing, it is that they are a very resilient industry, despite everything, here They continue and continue to generate many jobs throughout the State, and economic benefits for Yucatecan families that depend on this sector.
