The animal, a male approximately 3 years old, was secured by officers of the corporation and transferred to the facilities of the Kanasín Ecological Police for evaluation. The mammal was found in good health conditions, and it was handed over to agents of the Federal Attorney for Environmental Protection (Profepa) and will undergo observation for one to two weeks at the Animaya Bicentennial Zoo.

Raul Velázquez Martínez, Director of the Kanasín Ecological Police, recommended that when the presence of an animal with these characteristics is detected, it should be reported to 9991 665779, as it is not suitable to keep them at home due to their sharp teeth and strong claws.

Similarly, he invited the public to report any type of animal abuse to the aforementioned number and noted that the officers of the corporation will respond immediately to any calls made.
