(Amexme.org/).- The organization leader said that these changes directly impact their profits, which are reduced by up to 30 and 40%, making businesses suffer to stay afloat.

“We are greatly affected by tax increases, changes in the Tax Administration Service (SAT), Social Security contributions, and other provisions, but somehow we have to get ahead,” said Torres Dorantes.

She recalled that during the pandemic no company affiliated with Amexme Yucatán closed, thanks to the networking system established to help those most affected businesses by the economic recession, while, at the national level, the five percent had to close their doors.

He commented that it is necessary to create a support network at the national level in all areas to overcome the difficult circumstances in which the federal government places companies with the increase in vacation days, salaries, and the employer’s quota for the pension fund.

Also, sh pointed out that many are barely recovering from the pandemic, in which they managed to stay afloat through various mechanisms and support networks on platforms.

She specified that Yucatán is among the first 10 places nationally in entrepreneurship issues led by women, since 38% are led by a woman, not only as part of the association but in general.
