Everything is ready for the Merida’s Expo Trade Fair

MÉRIDA, Yucatan, October 20, 2023.- With 98 percent of the stands installed, the Expo Feria del Comercio 2023 is ready to welcome more than 300 thousand attendees during its 4-day duration, where they will be able to find an endless number of products in the more than 300 stands installed in the Chichén Itzá and Uxmal halls of the Centro de Convenciones Yucatán Siglo XXI (Yucatán 21st Century Convention Center).

At a press conference, Levy Abraham Macari, president of the National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism, reiterated the invitation to the most important multi-sector event in the entire peninsula, which will offer attractive offers and discounts, as well as events and trivia that can be enjoyed by the whole family.

He recalled that as every year there will be an entrepreneurial area with the participation of the Yucatecan Institute of Entrepreneurs and the Municipal Center of Entrepreneurs, in addition to international exhibitors from Guatemala with textiles and Holland with the blue rooster brand.

The business leader also thanked the Ministry of Public Safety for its participation in the Expo Feria del Comercio with a space for the dissemination of road safety education.

“In a special way I would like to thank the Yucatan Public Safety Secretariat headed by Commander, Luis Felipe Saidén Ojeda who this year, as in other years participates with a space to disseminate road safety education, which allows us to be an event that promotes values and allows attendees to have new knowledge,” he said.

He added that for this 2023, there will also be three parking lots adjacent to the convention center for the convenience of Expo Feria del Comercio attendees so they can shop safely.

The president of the Fairs Committee of the National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism, Mauricio López Cantón, recalled that the activities for the Expo Feria del Comercio begin this October 18 with the traditional parade of botargas that will begin at the CANACO SERVYTUR, and will travel through the main avenues of the city ending at the traffic circle in Caucel City.

López Cantón also mentioned that on October 19 the doors of the Expo Feria del Comercio will be open from 5 to 10 pm, and that there will be a tour and later a networking event.

He added that the inauguration of the Expo Trade Fair will take place on Friday, October 20 at 10 am and from that day and the following days buyers can visit it from 10 am to 10 pm, time where you can find a host of activities for the whole family which include presentations of Morita, and Terry’s Corner.

The president of the Fair Committee, announced that for this 2023 the ambassadors of the Expo Feria del Comercio will be “La tía Chayo” and “Socotroco” who will be present during the event and will tour the more than 300 stands that will be installed.
