Elevator falls at the Regional High Specialty Hospital of the Yucatan Peninsula
MÉRIDA, Yucatan, October 26, 2023.- The Hospital Regional de Alta Especialidad de la Peninsula de Yucatan confirmed in a press release that there was a mechanical failure in one of the freight elevators; no serious injuries were reported.
According to versions gathered at the site, the elevator had fallen into the void from the second floor with 12 people inside.
In the communiqué it is specified that the affected personnel did not present serious injuries, however, it was reported that they are being attended to and evaluated by doctors of the institution. Following the accident, the Civil Protection and Hospital Seguro team mobilized quickly and efficiently to ensure the safety of the people affected.
