.- At an event in Valladolid, the coordinator of the Committees for the Defense of the Fourth Transformation, Claudia Sheinbaum assured that in Yucatán the National Regeneration Movement (Morena) will win the governorship, as it has an advantage over the National Action Party (PAN).
Sheinbaum went to the entity this day to be present at the swearing-in of the 4T Committees and in a hotel in the eastern municipality she highlighted that Morena is currently among the preference of the citizens.
He also denied that Yucatán is conservative and that this prevents people from voting for Morena in 2024.
She argued that the people who live in Yucatán are happy with the work that the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, has done in the southeast and in the state he is well-liked, so they would agree to continue under the Morena government.
Sheinbaum’s first meeting was private and she was only with people from the party, among them for example, former diver Rommel Pacheco, who recently switched from PAN to Morena.
Also present were Senator Verónica Camino and the former delegate of Bienestar, Joaquín Díaz Mena, better known as ‘Huacho’.
Also present were representatives of the Green Party, with whom Morena has an alliance.
However, it scheduled one more event at Hacienda San Gregorio, in the same municipality.
