‘Norma’ is just 235 kilometers off the coast of Cabo San Lucas
Hurricane Norma, category 3 on the Saffir-Simpson scale, is located 235 kilometers south of Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, and 450 kilometers southwest of Mazatlan, Sinaloa; follow LIVE its trajectory before making landfall on Saturday, October 21, 2023.
According to the latest report from Conagua, Norma has maximum sustained winds of 195 km/h, gusts of 240 km/h, and is moving towards the north-northwest at 15 km/h. Its cloud bands will produce punctual torrential rains in Baja California Sur; punctual intense rains in Sinaloa and Nayarit; very heavy rains in Jalisco, Colima, and Michoacán; as well as heavy rains in Durango; which could increase the levels of rivers and streams, and generate landslides and floods.
