A young woman was found unconscious on the streets of Mérida, she doesn’t remember what happened

A young woman was found unconscious on the streets of Ciudad Caucel, in the west side of Mérida, and the intervention of emergency services was necessary.

In a somewhat unusual event, a young woman was reported unconscious on Calle 114 between 29 and 31 in the Ciudad Caucel subdivision, where she was found lying on the ground by local residents who did not recognize her as someone from the neighborhood.

As her identity was unknown, emergency services were called for assistance. Paramedics and police officers from the Public Security Secretariat (SSP) arrived at the scene.

Paramedics assessed her condition, and as she was unaccompanied and the cause of her condition was unknown, she was rushed to the General Agustín O’Horán Hospital for a medical evaluation.

An SSP patrol remained at the scene to investigate whether the young woman’s condition was linked to any criminal activity.

While the young woman regained consciousness in the hospital, she was unable to provide details about what happened. Unofficially, it was reported that she could not remember the events.

It’s worth mentioning that this incident has caused shock in the Ciudad Caucel neighborhood. Since the young woman’s identity was unknown, images of her were shared on social media to locate her family.

The young woman found unconscious was wearing blue denim shorts, a black top, a blue polka-dot blouse, and a brown belt.

This incident has caused concern among Ciudad Caucel residents. Some social media users have mentioned that finding the young woman unconscious reminds them that crime is on the rise in the state. Others have urged caution until the circumstances are clarified, as many believe that she may have been a victim of heatstroke due to the high temperatures in Yucatán. However, the authorities will be responsible for determining what happened to the young woman and locating her family.
