A woman accused of violence against her minor daughter in Mérida was linked to a trial and a court-ordered to maintain precautionary measures for the accused.
According to the State Attorney General’s Office, the woman, C.A.S.V., was charged with the crime of family violence, after evaluating the evidence presented by the authority, so she used an electronic bracelet as part of the precautionary measures.
The judge granted three months to close the complementary investigation, time that the parties will have to continue with the investigation.
During the initial hearing, prosecutors established that the events occurred on October 8 in the Ampliación Plan de Ayala Sur neighborhood, in Mérida, at the gates of the family home.
There, the accused committed abusive acts aimed at physically and psychologically attacking her minor daughter.
Before concluding the hearing, the precautionary measures imposed in the previous procedure were ratified, which include, in addition to an electronic locator, periodically signing in at the State Center for Precautionary Measures, prohibition of leaving the State without judicial authorization and approaching the minor or her domicile, measures that will remain in force for the entire time that the process lasts.
