MÉRIDA, YUCATAN.- On Tuesday, October 3rd, public security agents found a lifeless man in a property in the Itzimná neighborhood after a report from neighbors.

In that area, the residents realized that they had not seen the inhabitants of one of the houses for three days: an elderly couple of foreign origin.

The residents called the owner of the house; The man arrived and found a tragic scene. The older adult died and the woman, who cannot walk due to a problem with her back, remained bedridden.

The woman has been living with the corpse since she could not notify anyone.

The older adult died three days ago, presumably from a heart attack, however, he is not in a state of decomposition, according to the sector commander.

At the scene, police officers have cordoned off the area; Paramedics also arrived at the scene to help the woman.
