I want to be Governor in 2024, because in this country things are done by the executives and from there we are going to build it together,” assured Jorge Carlos Ramírez Marín, Senator for Yucatán, when he reiterated that he wishes to present to the people of Yucatán a project for and by all.
“How can Yucatán or Mérida be places with high scores on issues such as incest, but at the same time feel complacent and say that we are one of the most beautiful cities in the world and one of the best places to live? Yes, but less so for that boy or girl,” the legislator questioned.
“Real changes can only be made by the Executive, in this country that is how it works and that is what I would like to change, from education and health policy, because yes we can and we are going to achieve it”, he added.
In this sense, Ramírez Marín recalled that the only thing that is needed is to put the state, its people and needs as a priority, and proof of this are the 10 Wilma Marín Community Clinics that operate in the state, providing attention to 15 thousand people per month, or the more than 15 thousand Yucatecans who now have free Internet connection, thanks to the Free Internet and Telephony program.
Regarding his political definitions, he pointed out that “With the PRI we are not enough, it is a reality of the party, but also, if we continue with this idea that the Senator is not enough, even less is enough for us”.
“We would have to decide to work in an alliance, but one that is only to stick together and share a piece of the spoils, I will not be there, because what I want is to make sure that changes can be made, where they give me a chance and the priority is that the plans are fulfilled, of course I will participate”.
