The Yucatan Health Secretariat offices catch fire

A fire broke out on the morning of this Saturday, September 9, in the offices of the Yucatan Health Secretariat located in the Santiago neighborhood.

Around 10 a.m. there was a strong movement of emergency units in the offices located on 53rd Street with 72nd and 74th Streets in the Center of Mérida.

The fire may have been caused by a short circuit in one of the warehouses of the facilities, in the Technology and Innovation Subdirectorate.

Witnesses noticed that smoke was coming out of the window, so they called the fire brigade.

Firefighters from the Ministry of Public Security arrived at this site and immediately controlled the fire. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, only material damage.
