A man was attacked with a knife in the Parque de las Américas, in Mérida, and suffered serious injuries.
Although there is still no official report of the case, it was found out that the attack occurred in the early morning hours in the well-known park located on Colón Avenue in the García Ginerés neighborhood.
People who get up early to exercise at the site found a person lying and bloody near the fountain.
Afterward, they called 91 and agents of the Public Security Secretariat (SSP) arrived at the scene, and took the injured person to a hospital. So far there are no arrests for the attack, the causes of which are unknown.
