On Tuesday, September 12, the Municipal Police of Mérida adjusted the vehicular circulation on 56-A street known as the Remate de Paseo Montejo, due to the works that the city government carries out on 47th and 56th streets, which remains closed to traffic.

The police corporation established a contraflow on 49th Street between 56-A and 56th. This means, in that section, vehicular circulation will be in two directions.

In this way, vehicles that circulate from north to south on 56-A street, that is, the end of Paseo de Montejo, when they reach the intersection with 49, the drivers have the option of continuing west in the normal direction from that road; or take the contraflow to head east, reach 56th street to travel north and reach 47th street which is already open until its intersection with 50th street.

To facilitate the movement of vehicles, traffic police agents are available on 56-A street at its intersections with 47 and 49 streets, and on 56 by 49. This measure will continue as long as the works on 47th Street continue between 56 and 56-A streets.
