As planned for several weeks, the President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, after concluding his Fifth Government Report, boarded the Tren Maya from the San Francisco de Campeche station. This visit aimed to supervise the mega-project in the Southeast of Mexico every 15 days.

Mauricio Vila, the Governor of Yucatán, was one of the invitees to this event and one of the first to board the Tren along with businessmen who were part of the investment in this railway project.

On his social media platforms, Vila Dosal shared a video showing the Campeche station with the Tren Maya cars in the background. The Governor of Yucatán emphasized that he would continue sharing parts of the journey toward the Teya station in Yucatán.
