The Complaints Commission of the INE ordered Morena, Claudia Sheinbaum, and Xóchitl Gálvez to take various actions to remove propaganda that could constitute premature campaign acts.

In the case of the Morena party, they are ordered to remove Sheinbaum’s propaganda on Acabús in Acapulco, Guerrero, as well as Morena, considering that it could constitute premature campaign acts.

The decision was made unanimously by the councilors after the INE issued guidelines for unprecedented internal processes, ordering parties and candidates to remove propaganda that could constitute premature campaign acts.

In the case of Xóchitl Gálvez, she is ordered to remove two messages from her social media accounts in which she discusses creating a National Health System to improve the lives of Mexicans.

The chairwoman of the commission, Claudia Zavala, explained that the INE’s guidelines defined the functional equivalents that were prohibited in the propaganda of the aspirants, such as messages of support or positioning by registered individuals, the continuation of government programs, the presentation of electoral platforms, or third parties mentioning them as possible presidential pre-candidates.

In Gálvez’s messages, she talks about a proposal for the creation of a National Health System.
