Guadalajara submerged in floodwaters

Heavy rains inundated the metropolitan area of Guadalajara, to the extent of burying vehicles and trapping drivers and passengers inside.

Numerous viral videos show vans submerged up to their roofs and cars being swept away by the force of the current.

Even a water tank followed suit, floating in the flooded streets, while a citizen had to navigate in a kayak.

Civil Protection of Jalisco reported that four people were rescued from their vehicles and treated by paramedics as they showed signs of hypothermia.
