The former governor of Yucatán, Ivonne Ortega Pacheco, got engaged to the former local deputy Javier Osante Solís, both former PRI members.
In social networks, the ex-legislator posted a photo where during a dinner he gave her the engagement ring to get married.
Ortega Pacheco is divorced and Osante Solís is single, and both met and worked together in the years 2007-2012, when Ortega Pacheco governed Yucatán and Osante was his collaborator.
They have been dating for more than 4 years and both left the ranks of the PRI to join Movimiento Ciudadano (MC).
Osante Solís posted the photo on his social networks at the moment he gave the engagement ring to the former governor of Yucatán.
They both live in Yucatán, as Ortega Pacheco is originally from Dzemul Yucatán, although she currently travels a lot to Mexico City as a federal deputy for MC.
