Federal agents seize drugs in Mérida

In the early hours of this Tuesday, September 12, the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) executed a search warrant at a house in the Maya neighborhood in Mérida, where they seized drugs and arrested six people.

According to the report, the FGR led the search following an order granted by a federal judge. The federal agents, supported by the Mexican Army and the National Guard, arrived at a house on 9th Street between 24-A and 24-B of that area.

The agents found drugs such as marijuana, cocaine, and crystal in various quantities. In addition, federal forces arrested six people in the house at the time of the search.

The operation lasted until around 6 in the morning, when the agents and soldiers left the scene.
