The little dog that “snooped” into the annual parade held by the Armed Forces as part of the celebrations for the Independence of Mexico, was rescued and for his amusing appearance while the soldiers were marching, the Animal Vigilance Brigade named him “Cadete” (cadet).

After the video in which the canine can be seen “marching” on the capital’s Zócalo, went viral, several people urged the Ministry of National Defense ( SEDENA) to find him in order to join their ranks and become part of the binomials.

“Sedena please adopt this cute little dog” and “he is also Mexican and plays parade, they did not invite him but they did not forbid him to attend”, were some comments that were made on social networks.

Cadete was lost in the streets of the city, but after three days, elements of the Investigation Police of Mexico City rescued him to give him a roof, food and to take him to the organization.
“He is already here in the #BrigadaDeVigilanciaAnimal we named him “Cadete”. He has already eaten, run and is getting to know his new friends. Here he will be receiving care and lots of love while he is being adopted”, said his rescuer.

Cadete received an appointment from the SEDENA

Even the Secretary of National Defense (SEDENA) invited the dog to the celebrations for the National Day of the Binomio, in which rescue dogs such as Proteo and Frida were commemorated.

The federal agency even gave him a certificate of “canine discharge approval”, signed by Sergeant Roko, which endorses him as a specialized guard and protection lomito.
For the time being, Cadet remains in the Brigade’s custody while they find a permanent home for him. The organization has shared several photos and videos.
