Hunucmá, Yuc., September 6th. – A shocking collision between a pickup truck and a personnel carrier resulted in thousands of pesos in material damage and six injured.
According to information, the brutal collision occurred between a pickup truck and a bus transporting workers from the Yucatecan brewery on the Merida-Tetiz highway, at kilometer 6.
The bus was on its way to Merida when a red pick up truck, traveling in the opposite direction, crossed its path for unknown reasons, resulting in a sharp impact.
Shortly after, rescue and fire units arrived at the scene and managed to free the trapped driver. He was then rushed to a hospital in an ambulance.
In addition, police officers and traffic experts took charge of the scene of the accident, which was partially closed while the necessary investigations were being carried out. The alleged driver of the wrecked vehicle was severely injured and was rushed to a hospital in the Yucatecan capital. He has not yet been identified.
