Itzimná Park was the venue for the continuation of the “Arborizando Yucatán” program, during which 100 specimens of Xkanlol and Campanita species were planted by volunteers and employees of the Ministry of Sustainable Development.

It is important to mention that these efforts add up to nearly one million trees planted in 97 municipalities in the state.

Furthermore, authorities announced that in the coming months, work will be carried out to relocate vegetation along the more than 129-kilometer route of the Ie-Tram.

This involves a total of 13,820 specimens of species such as chakté, balché, campanita, anacahuita, chacsinkín, pasak, chaká, ciricote, cedar, among others, along the stretch that goes from the 39th street of the Periférico Ring Road to the Gran Parque de la Plancha.
