Yucatán producers to participate in the Cheese, Honey, and Wine Festival in Mérida

With over 15 exhibitors, both local and national, the Cheese, Honey, and Wine Festival in Mérida will bring more than 50 products made with a variety of cheeses and honey, along with over 30 different types of wine and their derivatives. This event introduces a new gastronomic and cultural proposition, with expectations to gather over five thousand attendees.

The festival will take place on Saturday, August 12, and Sunday, August 13, at Hacienda El Triunfo in Mérida, from 4:00 to 11:00 PM. It will showcase innovative items and foods that highlight the main elements previously mentioned.

Regarding honey, local producers will display desserts, traditional dishes, sweets, and even artisanal beverages such as Jamaica and melipona bee mead.

In the “Cheese Pavilion,” there will be over 30 varieties of this dairy product, both national and international, including smoked Oaxaca cheese, fine herb cheese, pork cheese, and even buffalo cheese.

In the “Wine Pavilion,” special wines will be presented, such as blue wine from Querétaro, fruit wines like Jamaica, pitaya, blueberry, and coffee, and even a special edition huaya wine.
