Presidential candidate Marcelo Ebrard Casaubon stated that just as the Berlin Wall fell, the wall with the United States will also fall.
In a Twitter post, he mentioned that a section of the Berlin Wall, demolished in 1989, was donated to Tijuana by Marcos Cline-Marquez and Sergio Alcocer.
According to the former chancellor, the wall symbolizes the struggle for freedom and human dignity.
“It was placed next to the wall that separates us from the United States, which will also fall,” Ebrard posted.
