Aware of the importance of animal care and welfare, in a city like Mérida where pets are part of the family, during his second Annual Report, the mayor, Renán Barrera Concha, highlighted the upcoming opening of the first Public Veterinary Hospital and the Center Municipal Animal Care.

Under the logic of collaboration to grow together, Barrera Concha announced that it is one of the commitments of the Mérida 2050 Agenda signed by the state and municipal governments in 2018, to lay the foundations for a better society.

“It gives me great pleasure to inform you that we are about to jointly inaugurate the first Public Veterinary Hospital and the Municipal Animal Care Center, where services such as general consultation, blood biochemistry analysis, ultrasounds, sterilizations, among many others” will be provided. , he stated.

“It will also be a new center for the adoption of animals, in which any family that decides to adopt will do so with the best conditions,” he added.

The municipal president cataloged that thanks to teamwork, Yucatan is on a path of change and transformation, of prosperity and better opportunities for all.

“To continue growing with justice, we must continue on this same path, working in unity with each of the Yucatecans (as),” he said.
