The preventive measures implemented on various beaches in Cancún have led to a summer season with no accidents, according to Antonio Riberoll Ribbón, director of Civil Protection in Benito Juárez.

The official highlighted that it has been a good season, with no significant accidents or incidents, although more than 20,000 preventive actions have been taken.

According to data from the Quintana Roo Tourism Secretariat, it is expected that around 1.8 million people will visit various destinations, resulting in an average of 56,250 beachgoers daily in the region. This number increases when considering local residents.
