Over 100 artisans from 40 municipalities at the Parque Las Americas in Mérida

With the aim of promoting the artisanal culture of over 40 municipalities in Yucatán, the first edition of the “Encantos de Yucatán” fair will take place on the evenings of August 19 and 20. This event intends to attract thousands of people over two days to this area of the city of Mérida.

According to the organizers, this event promises significant economic benefits for exhibitors coming from municipalities such as Valladolid, Hunucmá, Muna, Oxkutzcab, Ticul, Maní, Tekax, Umán, Tizimín, Temozón, Izamal, Ucu, Celestún, among many others.

The event will start at 10 in the morning on Saturday, and artisans will offer decorative ornaments, embroidery, hammocks, jewelry, traditional clothing, and footwear as part of the first edition of this event, which will bring together more than 100 Yucatecan artisans.

This festival also includes the exhibition of various artisanal techniques, showcasing their skills and talent for those interested in delving deeper into the culture of the Yucatecan region, along with showcasing their handmade works.

In addition to purchasing crafts, visitors can also enjoy local treats, cultural and artistic events suitable for the whole family.

Attend and enjoy this grand event that will gather artisans from over 40 Yucatecan municipalities on August 19 and 20 at the Americas Park from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
