Inside the General Secondary School No. 8, a lifeless person was found hanging from a tree.
Mérida, Yucatán.- On Thursday, August 3rd, around 4 in the afternoon, at a public school that is located on Calle 118 on the corner with Calle 69-D of the Yucalpetén subdivision, next to the Parque Ecológico del Poniente (Ecological Park of the West), a security guard was carrying out his routine tour when he found the body of a person, apparently a male, about 40 years old. The body was suspended, hanging from the branch of a “Huaxin” tree.
After the macabre discovery, the security guard notified the police who arrived at the site and reported the fact to the Coroner’s office (Servicio Médico Forense: SEMEFO).
The now-deceased was wearing a yellow shirt, beige pants, a black cap, and brown boots.
The place was cordoned off by staff from the State Attorney General’s Office who took charge of the corresponding proceedings.
