Business chambers react to Renán Barrera’s second report

Business chambers reacted positively to the second report of Mérida’s mayor, Renán Barrera Concha. Beatriz Gómory, president of Coparmex and the Coordinating Business Council, highlighted the mayor’s call for teamwork, as well as his interest in improving conditions for the most disadvantaged.

Likewise, she mentioned that the three programs announced by the mayor to support women help them continue their education and work as needed.

Sergei López Cantón, president of Canadevi, pointed out that the city’s evolution in recent years is evident, and it has been a collaborative effort between the municipality and the mayor, resulting in visible successes.

He stated that in the realm of real estate development in the city, Canadevi has always maintained a close working relationship with the mayor, sharing a common vision for the city’s future and building upon that.

In a similar vein, Claudia González Góngora, president of Canirac, noted that the gastronomic corridor on 47th street is a project that had been sought for a long time and was realized during Barrera Concha’s administration, leaving them very pleased with the outcome.
