Maxcanú, Yucatán, August 30, 2023.- The driver of an ambulance property of the Maxcanú City Council was pressed after leaving the asphalt road and hitting a tree.
The brutal mishap occurred in the Santa Cruz-Calcehtok section when Erick A.S.E was speeding and upon reaching a curve he lost control of the steering wheel, went off the road, and ended up crashing into a tree.
Due to the impact, the driver was trapped in the wrecked unit and had to be rescued by firefighters and SSP paramedics who arrived at the scene of the incident minutes later.
The municipal employee resulted in a fractured ankle. Fortunately, his life was never in danger.
In the end, he was taken to the IMSS hospital in this municipality for better general care and to have his delivery sheet sent to Mérida.
