Alleged murderer of an elderly man, behind bars

Police officers arrested Marco Antonio C.P. A.K.A. “Loquillo”, accused of the homicide of an elderly person in Mérida, occurred in early August.

Police investigators from the Ministry of Public Security (SSP) in coordination with the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), located and captured the 25-year-old man, accused of killing R.J.M.M., 75, between Sunday the 6th and Monday, August 7, in a house in the Sambulá neighborhood.

The FGE Institute of Forensic Sciences determined that several blows with a blunt object caused the death.

The investigations by the agents provided the evidence to establish the probable responsibility of the arrested man and with this, they obtained the arrest warrant issued by a judge.
