A jaguar is caught on camera in the Tren Maya area

A jaguar was captured on video while walking in the middle of the Tren Maya works, near Tulum, last Friday, August 25.

In a video circulating on social media, catches the moment in which, under the rain, between the fences and the lights of the project, a disoriented jaguar appears that first crosses the place, begins to walk on the banks and then stays, just in the middle of the road that no longer has thick jungle. The clip was recorded by a driver passing through the area.

The Tren Maya passes through a nature reserve and this is why the mega project has caused opinions for and against. Environmental organizations, Maya indigenous groups, and even celebrities have launched messages opposing the construction.
