A child died last Friday August 25 after the trunk of a tree that fell from its roots hit him in the head, in the streets of Umán.
The fatal incident happened in the San Francisco neighborhood, where the little boy was walking with his mother. Suddenly the tree gave way from its roots and, as it fell, hit the little boy in the skull.
The mother, seeing her unconscious little boy, quickly took him to the public hospital in Umán, but upon arrival the doctors informed her that the boy had already died from the serious injury.
The Municipal Police restricted the area where a toy tricycle was left, a “witness” to the tragic events.The authorities will carry out the corresponding investigations.
