Mérida, Yucatán, July 3, 2023.- With the delivery of certificates to 44 businessmen, the Closing of the Commercial Intelligence Diploma was carried out, which lasted 10 weeks and was organized by the Ministry of Economic Development and Labor ( Sefoet), through the Directorate of Business Strengthening.

This Diploma had as objectives: to distinguish the different business models that exist for the development of an idea; understand the monetization, financing, and flow schemes for a business; know the different sales mechanisms of a service or an idea; develop elements of empathy, analysis, and judgment to decide if an idea has market possibilities, and build with the entrepreneur a path of growth, evolution, and development.

In a ceremony held in Merida’s Labná Auditorium, the Undersecretary of Investment, Economic Development, and Financing, Gerardo Díaz de Zavala, recognized the dedication of those who made up the Business Strengthening Diploma.
“I thank the teacher, Oscar Rivas Inzunza, for his time, dedication, and effort in transmitting his knowledge during this course, and the teacher Miguel Ángel Bornio Herrera, South Central Regional Director of Grupo Nobis, for his presence in Yucatan”, he expressed.

In the same way, he dedicated a message to the participants of the Digital Diploma who acquired key knowledge on sales, the market, negotiation, marketing, and business intelligence, among other topics.

“Today you are ready for the next step. They are taking the tools to make their dreams and goals come true,” said Undersecretary Díaz de Zavala.

“As a government agency, it is our job to create and implement programs and diplomas like this one, but it would be impossible to achieve it without the participation of every one of you, the private initiative and the specialists, who decide to dedicate part of their time and experience to the construction of a more solid and collaborative local economy”, he added.

Finally, he invited them to stay close to Sefoet’s Business Strengthening and Commerce Directorates, “where they will always find open doors to potentiate their processes according to the needs and growth of their companies.”
In her speech, María Fernanda Molina Patrón, Director of Business Strengthening, indicated that “commercial intelligence helps us identify growth opportunities and anticipate threats or changes in the market. However, business intelligence alone is not enough, companies must recognize the need for constant training, both for their leadership and for all their collaborators, which will help us to keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies to adapt quickly. to the changes”.

Lastly, Professor Oscar Rivas Inzunza, a speaker from Grupo Nobis, highlighted that “this program, whose agenda can be compared to prestigious institutions such as the Tecnológico de Monterrey, the Anahuac University, ITAM, and La Salle University, would not have been possible without the incipient and permanent desire of the Government of Yucatan, which with this enormous effort tries to generate modernity and growth”.

“Mr. Undersecretary, Yucatán is an example of disruptive thinking because it is a space for universal thought. Through him, we recognize the Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal and, above all, the Secretary Ernesto Herrera Novelo because Yucatán is shining as a fascinating home for ideas, talent and creativity, which will allow the State to become a spearhead so that Mexico has a pool of innovators and entrepreneurs ready to compete with the world”, indicated Rivas Inzunza.

During the closing ceremony, recognition was also given to the Regional Director of Grupo Nobis, Miguel Ángel Bornio Herrera, and to the speaker who gave the Diploma, Oscar Rivas Inzunza, for the outstanding collaboration of Grupo Nobis.
