Puerto Rican singer and recording artist Ricky Martin will perform in Mérida, Yucatán, on September 17, as part of his tour called “Ricky Martin Sinfónico”.
This tour of the country will begin in the Riviera Maya. It will consist of four concerts that will be held from September 16 in Mayakoba; later it will be in Mexico City, on the 21st; Guadalajara, on the 27th and Monterrey, on the 30th.
For this concert, the Puerto Rican artist will be accompanied by an orchestra of more than 50 musicians, in a night full of passion and nostalgia. Details of the concert were revealed at a press conference, which arises from Ricky Martin’s idea of performing with a classical orchestra, taking his songs to a new level, to achieve the meeting between both worlds without losing its essence.
This dream came true in July 2022, where he managed to present two concerts at the Hollywood Bowl with the Los Angeles Philharmonic together with the Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel.
Ricky Martin took his symphonic show to Argentina, Chile and Uruguay, where it sold out and generated the best reviews from the specialized press. “Ricky Martin Sinfónico” includes a large repertoire of his greatest hits, including “Tal Vez”, “María”, “Fuego de Noche, Nieve de Día”, “Vente Pa Ca”, “Disparo al Corazón”, in addition to his most recent “Acid Sabor” included in his EP “PLAY”, now available on all digital platforms.
