Pemex confirms two fatalities in platform explosion.

Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) has confirmed the deaths of two employees from a private company following the explosion on Friday on the Nohoch Alfa platform in the Campeche Sound.

In a statement, it detailed that three of its workers were injured, with two already at home, while the other would be admitted to the Central South High Specialty Hospital in Picacho, Mexico City, due to burns covering 35 percent of their body.

Additionally, it was reported that five individuals from the private company were injured, and one is missing, but Pemex will be providing support for them.
