Man stabbed in the middle of Mérida’s Plaza Grande

On Wednesday, July 5, at 2:58 p.m., agents of the Mérida Municipal Police assigned to the surveillance of the Plaza Grande area noticed of a stabbing in the area.

Paramedics from the corporation moved to the place, who provided medical care to JD-CP. 39 years old.

This person had a wound of approximately eight centimeters on his left side, in the lower part of the abdomen.

The wound was caused with a sharp object, by another person who fled the scene before the police could catch him.

With the description and the characteristics provided by the injured person, a public security device is currently in place to locate the aggressor.

JDCP was transferred to the O’horán hospital for evaluation and medical care aboard ambulance number 011 of the Red Cross.
