The mayor of Progreso, Julián Zacarías Curi, and the municipal secretary of Teabo, Rita Domínguez Moo, signed an intermunicipal work agreement in the vicinity of Callejón del Amor in Progreso. They were accompanied by local deputy Erik Rihani and the mayor of Mérida, Renán Barrera Concha.
The agreement took place during the Teabo Expo “the heart of Xokbil Chuuy,” which will be held at Callejón del Amor on July 14th and 15th from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Its purpose is to promote support and the dissemination of the artisanal talent of the Teabo community.
Lastly, Mayor Julián Zacarías Curi invited the citizens of Progreso and tourists to visit and support the artisans of Teabo.
