A group of Japanese scientists are working on a medication to grow new teeth in humans.
These experts have been studying the possibility of creating new teeth since 2005. Working with mice, they found that the USAG-1 protein limits the development of new teeth.
This is how the experts developed a medication that neutralizes the USAG-1 protein and would make new teeth grow.
So far, this medication has only been tested on mice with great success.
However, there is still a long way to go before this medication can be used by people.
