High-Tech Greenhouse with cannabis plants seized in a property in Mérida

A joint operation by federal and state forces against drug dealing resulted in the seizure of 38 marijuana plants in a property located in the Villa Magna Sur residential development in Mérida.

Following investigations conducted by the Ministry of Public Security (SSP) and the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), based on an anonymous report to the number 089, a judge issued a search warrant for a property on 133-A Street in the aforementioned residential development.

With the support of the Army, Navy, and National Guard, the cannabis plants located in five greenhouses installed in two rooms and a storage room of the house were seized.

Additionally, a stash of the drug, a quantity of marijuana in bulk, a scale, a grinding instrument, and a glass container with marijuana in alcohol were found.

At the time of the operation, there were no individuals inside the residence.
