Fleeing from another accident, a drunk driver crashes into a tree

A tourist transport truck ended up on a tree after attempting to flee following a collision that resulted in the breaking of another car’s side mirror.

The driver, allegedly under the influence of alcohol, was driving on Pedagogical Avenue when he crashed into a parked car. Upon realizing he was being pursued, he tried to escape but lost control of the steering wheel.

Near 25 C Street, he crashed into a tree, causing him some injuries. A police officer on patrol noticed the impact and requested paramedic assistance. They arrived at the scene and transported the driver to a hospital.
