Explosion in Yucatán leaves four injured, including two minors

A powerful explosion occurred in a warehouse in Yucatán, leaving four people injured, including two children.

The incident took place in a warehouse located on 2-A Street with 21 and 21-A in the Miguel Hidalgo neighborhood, in the municipality of Umán.

According to preliminary information, the explosion of a brush cutter inside the warehouse caused a fire that spread to two bicycles, a refrigerator, and a grill, prompting a call for assistance to the relevant authorities.

Firefighters arrived at the scene and worked to extinguish the flames.

Unfortunately, four people were reported injured in the fire, including two minors, who were attended to by paramedics from the Ministry of Public Security (SSP) who provided first aid.

It is worth mentioning that it took firefighters approximately half an hour to control the fire.

At the time of writing this note, the causes of the brush cutter explosion are unknown. However, it should be noted that such devices often operate with gasoline, so it is presumed that the explosion made it easier for the flames to spread throughout the area.
