President Andrés Manuel López Obrador is obsessed with opposition presidential candidate Xóchitl Gálvez, he has been talking about her every day at his morning conference, for the last four days in a row.

During his daily morning press conference of Thursday, July 6th, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, president of Mexico, warned that if the opposition and the media fail to make Xóchitl Gálvez “take off,” “they are going to get tougher.” (SIC)

In this sense, he did not rule out that they use figures of intentional homicides in the country for electoral purposes and even that they alter data to make his government look bad in terms of security.

He assured that on Wednesday, July 5th, there were no homicides in 16 states, but people can believe the opposite thanks to the sensationalism in the media that, according to AMLO, has political purposes.

Opposition political parties could form a coalition to go against Morena in 2024 with Xóchitl Gálvez as their presidential candidate.
