Valladolid Restauranteurs participate in Profeco talk on Consumer Defense

With the aim of establishing channels of communication and collaborative work, a meeting was held with the participation of the new Director of the Consumer Defense Office in the Mexican Caribbean Zone, Marcos Castillo López, and members of the Valladolid Restaurant Association.

A large group of restaurant business owners affiliated with ARVAY attended the meeting, which took place at the Hotel & Suites Country, with the intention of learning about the best practices recommended by the federal agency.

During the event, the association members shared constructive opinions and contributions with the Profeco delegate, reaffirming their commitment to comply with the established guidelines for customer service according to the law.

At the event, the official from the Consumer Protection Agency, Castillo López, expressed: “We commend ARVAY for their openness in complying with the standards set by legislation and the recommendations issued by Profeco. We hope to maintain and strengthen these collaboration channels for the future.”

On his part, the president of ARVAY, Jordy Abraham Martínez, stated: “As restaurant business owners, our priority is to offer the highest quality products and services to our customers. This meeting is highly productive as it allows us to firsthand learn about the standards of excellence in order to continue working in favor of the people who visit Valladolid.”
