

With the aim of becoming an exemplary destination for regenerative tourism, Youcatan Land promotes “TABI, Santuario de Selva Maya” (TABI, Maya Jungle Sanctuary), its latest project located in the municipality of Ticul, in the southern part of the region. The project promises to offer authentic and enriching experiences for visitors, with a focus on the restoration and conservation of local biodiversity, commented Maykol García, Director of Operations and Communication.
What is Youcatan Land?
It is a company focused on the development of regenerative tourism experiences in the Yucatan Peninsula. Its focus is on sustainability, biodiversity conservation, and the promotion of local culture, seeking to create a positive impact on the destination and generate benefits for all stakeholders involved.
What is the name of this new product?
“TABI, Santuario de Selva Maya” (TABI, Maya Jungle Sanctuary), which is being developed in the San Juan Bautista Tabi and Anexa Sacnicté Protected Natural Area. Its main objective is to value the biocultural richness of the site and its communities, restore the biodiversity of the region, promote visitor’s connection with nature, and boost regional economies.

We worked closely with local communities to incorporate their vision into the project. As part of the “Environmental Impact Statement,” we conducted a social impact study, which allowed us to understand the needs and aspirations of the communities and ensure that the project benefits all stakeholders equitably.
