With over 25 activities, Palacio de la Música will celebrate its fifth anniversary. In addition to concerts and performances by more than 15 artists and groups, there will also be panel discussions, keynote speeches, and workshops.
Maleck Rashid Abdala Hadad, the general director of the venue, stated that there will be great surprises from June 3rd to June 27th, with a diverse program suitable for all tastes and ages. The activities will include events for children as well as for lovers of boleros, mariachi, trova, and even Rock and Roll.
“This is a celebration where we will express our gratitude to everyone who continues to visit Palacio de la Música and the interactive museum we have. In these five years, we have hosted 1,350 events, not counting the two years without in-person activities due to the pandemic. The venue has welcomed 450,000 people, and over 125,000 have discovered the history of Mexican music through the Interactive Museum,” he said.

They also announced that one of the most special events during their Fifth Anniversary will be the unveiling of a mural inspired by great figures of Yucatecan songs. The mural, created by artist José Góngora, will be revealed during the Trova Friday event at Palacio de la Música.
